HomeNewsZombiU Confirmed for PS4/Xbox One, Drops the ‘U’ Alex Irish July 30, 2015 News After much speculation and rumors, Ubisoft has finally confirmed that Wii U-exclusive ZombiU is shuffling to PS4 and Xbox One. The survival horror-fest will arrive on those platforms (along with PC) on August 18th as a digital release. The announcement trailer can be seen below: The game appears to be a straight port of the 2012 Wii U launch title. What the above trailer doesn’t show is how the game is being adjusted to play without the Wii U GamePad. ZombiU was noted for its usage of the Wii U hardware, but the game ultimately proved to be unprofitable for Ubisoft. A ZombiU sequel was once planned but cancelled due to low sales.
