HomeNewsThe ULTIMATE Remix for 3DS Roberto Pallas August 29, 2014 News The NES Remix for the Wii U series is finally making it’s way over to our beloved handhelds on the 3DS and 2DS. The series is noted for it’s retro inspired challenges from the 8-bit era of Nintendo’s legendary mascots. This means quirky remixes of series like The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Metroid, Pit, Ice Climbers, Wario Woods, and the like. The list just goes on and on, and one only wonders if this new iteration will be a stand alone title exclusive for the 3DS expanding on that list, or if it will merely be a conglomeration of the previous two titles released on the Wii U. The game is by no means a full fledge title akin to anything like Super Mario 3D World or Wii Sports, but it is title that will keep you busy for hours while coming at the price of around 15 to 20 dollars, if we are to expect similar pricing that is. The game will have online leaderboards, a championship mode, and probably some other extras and secrets to boot if we are to look at the progression made from NES Remix to it’s sequel. Will the 3DS hardware end up shaping the overall game design of this latest iteration? Let us know what you think! The game will launch in North America on November 5th, with the European release coming shortly thereafter. Share this post: No related posts.
