Two More Pokémon Apps Coming to iOS and Android

As Nintendo prepares to dip their toes into mobile gaming this fall, The Pokémon Company has announced two new Pokémon apps to launch soon.

The first is a port of the 3DS F2P download Pokémon Shuffle, simply entitled Pokémon Shuffle Mobile. It appears to be a near-identical port of the 3DS edition, stages, micro-transactions, and all. While it launches worldwide later this year, a Beta Version has gone live in Japan.

According to serebii.net, the Beta has some minor changes from the 3DS original. The beta only has 30 main stages, and the Mew and Rotom events are the only ones live at present. Mew itself costs 2 Hearts instead of the typical 1. It is available for 10,000 Android users from now until July 14th, after which those users will get the game later when it launches.

The second app is a Japan-only mini game entitled Dance? Pokémon Band!. A promotional app for the latest Pokémon movie, users tap along to music, rhythm-action style. It will be available to Japanese iOS and Android users from now until September 30th, and is playable until October 29th.
