HomeNewsSuper Mario Run Launches On Android March 23rd Alongside 2.0 Update Alex Irish March 18, 2017 News After a long honeymoon with Apple exclusivity, Super Mario Run has a release date for Android phones of March 23rd. That same day, both iOS (Apple) and Android users will see the mobile runner update to version 2.0. This update will bring a host of new additions including new characters, and the ability to unlock World 1-4 in the free demo, provided you complete one of Bowser’s challenges. In the time since it launched on iOS back in December, Super Mario Run was last reported to have been downloaded over 75 million times. Out of that figure, the premium app, which costs $9.99 USD, has been paid for by a mere 5% of total users. Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima promised that the company was taking steps to help consumers understand the value of paying the full price for Mario Run and its additional features. If you’re an Android user holding out for Mario Run, you can pre-register for the app’s Thursday release right now. Share this post: No related posts.
