HomeNewsSuper Mario 3D World Now In A Red Case Zak Penrith July 22, 2014 News A picture has recently emerged of a copy of 2013’s Super Mario 3D World in an American super market, but what’s different about this copy of Super Mario 3D World is that it is sporting a red case. This is similar to what Mario Kart 8 did, and it seems that Nintendo will be giving all Mario games their own fancy red cases for them to differ from the other Mario games in your collection. Other than the red case this copy of Super Mario 3D World has a sticker stating “Family game of the year”. It may just be me but aren’t you supposed to advertise Game Of The Year at the start of the year, not seven months in? There is no word on whether this is only in North America or it will be hitting Europe and Australian Regions but it is highly unlikely since Mario Kart 8 was not sporting the red case in Europe and Australian Regions, and the case for New Super Mario Bros. 2 was gold in Europe and Australian Regions and a regular white color in North America.
