Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 Get Two New 60 FPS Trailers

Splatoon Controller Layout

A few months ago, Google revealed that YouTube would soon be getting an update to allow 60FPS video support, and now that update is live! Among the first of the companies to take advantage of this shiny new feature, Nintendo has used the technology to make two beautiful new trailers for their upcoming 3rd-person shooter Splatoon and the competitive action-packed racer, Mario Kart 8‘s DLC. Check ’em out below:

To watch these trailers in their full 60FPS HD glory, you’ll have to make sure that you’re viewing them in the latest version of Google Chrome (or Google Chrom). Once you’ve got that done, select the video quality by clicking the little gear in the bottom right hand of the video frame and you should be good to go!

Man…after I’ve seen this amazing quality, I don’t think I can ever go back.
