HomeGeneralSplatoon Direct Recap Jelani Thompson May 7, 2015 General So, the Splatoon Direct event was aired earlier today and there was a plethora of new details revealed. Here’s a recap of all of the new information we’ve received: First up, we got a look at new weapons. The direct showed us many variations of the ink blasters, charged blasters (sniping tools) and rollers which you can check out below. Next up, we got a look at some new gear and we’re introduced to a new character named Spyke who can expand your gear slots, making you a fierce competitor on the battlefield. After that was revealed, we got a new look at singleplayer and were introduced to new 4v4 modes in which players can group up in lobbies of 8 and play against friends, or just simply team up in groups of 4 and search for another random team. This is the announcement that a lot of people were waiting for as it’ll give the competitive community a reason to play this game for a long time to come. We were also introduced to some post-release DLC. Nintendo has plans to bring us more stages and weapons in addition to a new tower mode soon after launch. This adds some much-needed variety to the mix! Of course, these were only the highlights of the event. You can check out the full direct below. Share this post: No related posts.
