Shovel Knight, Fast RMX Join The Switch Launch Line-Up

The Switch’s launch line-up gets two new additions as indie games Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Fast RMX have been confirmed for March 3rd. This also marks the launch date of Shovel Knght’s Specter of Torment DLC expansion, which in turn will be Switch-exclusive for a limited time. It will still launch on Wii U, 3DS, and other platforms in the near-future.

For those who don’t have Shovel Knight yet, the game gets a price hike on March 3rd to reflect the continuous add-on DLC’s value. From now through March 2nd, players can download Shovel Knight on its currently available platforms for the reduced price of $9.99 USD ($10.04 on Steam).

Fast RMX is the Switch-exclusive follow-up to Wii U’s Fast Racing Neo. Both futuristic, fast-paced racers come from Shin’en Multimedia and Fast RMX will be one of the few Switch launch games to support online multiplayer (along with Super Bomberman R).

These two releases bring the Switch’s North American launch line-up to 11 games strong, a jump above the initial 5 announced on January 12th. 60 indie games are planned for the Switch in 2017, with over 80 games promised overall for the system’s future.
