HomeNewsSEGA Reveals Additional 3D Classics for the 3DS Natalie Kipper April 14, 2015 News Today, SEGA announced the gaming titles that would comprise the third wave of its 3D Classics series: 3D Streets of Rage 2, 3D Gunstar Heroes, and 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Just like previous games in the collection, these three will be optimized for the 3DS’s controls and offer 3D visuals. In addition to the original game, SEGA added in modes and features exclusive to the remakes. It is a pretty sweet way to enjoy a nostalgia trip. 3D Streets of Rage 2 (a side-scrolling beat-’em-up) will release in July, with 3D Gunstar Heroes (a side-scrolling shooter) in August, and finally, 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in September. Each title will cost $5.99 and be available to download from the 3DS eShop. For more information on previous games in the series, check out this article.
