The director expressed his joy at getting the opportunity to work with Capcom’s fighter. Ryu’s transition to Smash Bros. required some tweaking to the martial artist’s original control scheme, giving players the ability to perform his special moves with the push of a single button. Hardcore fans also have the option of inputting the combo a la traditional Street Fighter, which also amplifies the power of the attack.
