Wii U to Recieve N64 Virtual Console Titles Soon

Nintendo 64 Wii U Virtual Console

Currently, the only way to be able to play N64 titles is through the Wii U’s vWii mode. This has been regarded by some as an inconvenience because vWii mode does not allow the use of Gamepad or Pro Controller. The website reads,

“Tip: Check back regularly for the latest releases, including the future addition of titles from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 systems.”

This would imply that Nintendo may be bringing N64 titles in the near future to Wii U’s eShop. Considering the fact that Nintendo decided to release GBA titles on the virtual console earlier this year, it would come as no surprise if they announced N64 titles to come in the near future. If that is the case, I for one can’t wait for Pokémon Stadium! It could mean nothing, but then again it can mean everything. Stay tuned for any official announcements by Nintendo.

See for yourself here, on Nintendo’s website.
