HomeNewsReggie Accepts the Ice Bucket Challenge From Phil Spencer Leslie August 19, 2014 News Yesterday, Phil Spencer of Microsoft’s Xbox division took the Ice Bucket challenge which had been passed on to him by “Notch” Persson. Among those he called out for this challenge was Reggie Fils-Aimé, the president of Nintendo of America. Today on Nintendo of America’s Twitter page Reggie accepted the Ice Challenge and said that he will “one up the challenge”, while being similar to how how Bill Gates one up’d Mark Zuckerberg by creating his own ice bucket contraption. I think we can expect something creative and unique done for this on Nintendo’s part as well. To the #IceBucketChallenge requests: I will 'one up' the challenge. Will share more over next few days! #Regginator @XboxP3 @ZeldaUniverse — Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) August 19, 2014 I think it’s great to see major figures in the video game industry spreading awareness for ALS disease and donating to ALS research. It’s good to show what we can do as a community and how our small actions can go toward finding a way to help others. Source: My Nintendo News Share this post: No related posts.
