Edition Coming to North America Trace Wysaske January 8, 2015 News Gung Ho Online Entertainment and Nintendo has announced Puzzles & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition for Nintendo 3DS. No doubt a slam dunk for both companies, this superstar collaboration will be released April 29th in Japan, but the official Puzzles & Dragons Twitter account also revealed that Nintendo will be publishing this title stateside. Details are forthcoming, but an overseas release of Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Edition via Nintendo has been announced. — Puzzle & Dragons NA (@PuzzDragNA) January 8, 2015 This isn’t the first time the mobile darling has hit Nintendo’s popular portable platform, but Puzzles & Dragons Z was only released in Japan. This is, however, the first time we’ve seen Mario characters amidst the puzzle-centric RPG mechanics of GungHo’s breadwinner. What’s it look like in action? Look no further: Looks like the game will be adopting the tried and true New Super Mario Bros. aesthetic applied towards the familiar P&D formula. It’s certainly fun to see Mario and pals in another RPG-style adventure and, again, this is undoubtedly going to sell loads of copies in Japan–it’ll probably even do pretty okay in the US too.
