HomeNewsPokken Tournament Confirmed; Hitting Arcades in Japan in 2015 Jelani Thompson August 26, 2014 News This morning, the Pokémon Company revealed that Pokken Tournament, a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Bandai Namco, will be hitting arcades in Japan sometime in 2015. The announcement was made in a Nico TV live stream, and appears to use the same fighting engine that’s used in Tekken. Since arcade aren’t as popular in the West, this title will likely be coming to the Wii U at a later date, but no word on that yet. Here’s a first look at the reveal trailer: The trailer shows off Lucario and Machamp having a pretty awesome close-up fight. No other playable Pokémon were revealed, but hopefully the full roster doesn’t get leaked. I’m looking at you, Smash Bros… What playable characters do you hope to see in Pokken Tournament?
