HomeNewsPokémon’s Eon Ticket to be Distributed via Serial Code Alex Irish February 23, 2015 News The Eon Ticket works in mysterious ways. The elusive item tied to the latest Pokémon games has only been distributed through StreetPass thus far, limiting its reach to an enormous player base. For those of you who have missed out on the Eon Ticket, a new event is coming up to remedy that. From February 27th until March 2nd, you’ll be able to redeem a serial code from Pokémon.com to download an Eon Ticket to your copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. The ticket allows players of Omega Ruby to catch Latias, and Alpha Sapphire players will be able to catch Latios. The Eon Ticket has been of particular interest to Pokémon fans. Its equivalent in the original Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire games was an e-Reader card, but its modern variant is a StreetPass-based Mystery Gift. While released in the States through Pokémon Leagues in various locations, European fans have partaken in The Great Eon Ticket Ralley. Pokémon producer Junichi Masuda himself released the first Eon Ticket to fans in London, where it has spread virally across the nation. The method for earning the code in your game is likely to be a Mystery Gift, under Redeem Serial Code. This method will require you to have an internet connection, so make sure you’re prepared come this weekend. Let us know if you are waiting for an Eon Ticket in the comments.
