Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions makes its debut August 15th

The minds behind The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses have revealed their newest creation, Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions. Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions is a touring concert, featuring live orchestrated songs from games spanning across the series.

The concert will premiere in Washington, D.C on August 15th at Warner Theatre, preceding the Pokémon World Championships also taking place in D.C, on August 16th and 17th. After that, the orchestra will be making its next stop in Philadelphia, PA on September 19th at Mann Center for Preforming Arts.

More dates and locations have yet to be announced, but it can be presumed that the tour will be hitting many of the same locations the Symphony of the Goddesses did during its run from 2012-2013.

This is what The Pokémon Company had to say when announcing the tour;

“Enjoy a night at the symphony with Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a live orchestral concert going on tour this year. Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will showcase memorable music from throughout the world of Pokémon, featuring all-new musical arrangements that will entertain not just Pokémon fans but all music lovers. Look forward to a wonderful symphonic experience that covers nearly 20 years of Pokémon entertainment around the world.”

Hopefully we will get to see songs from all six generations, and possibly some original songs that may be featured in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Let us know what your thoughts are on the announcement of the concert in the comments section below!
