Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Get-TV Recap

On Wednesday a Japanese commercial aired advertising Pokémon Get☆TV!  The commercial said that today Pokémon fans all over the globe would be able to see the first gameplay footage of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire!

So what happened? Here’s the recap!

First off all we just saw some commercials for Toys and the new X&Y movie, and then somthing about…. Milkshake…. Okay….

After a cooking portion of a Pokéball rice puff (Pictured below) with some One Direction playing in the background, an episode of the 1st Gen Pokémon anime was thrown on and some other miscellaneous Pokémon related things where shown. It seemed like the broadcast was just toying with my emotions at this point.

And then well… Pokémon Trozei Battle footage, and a Meowstick & Espurr Teaset. Then… Some guy took a bath…. Oh Japan…

After all of the weirdness was over, we got the see 5 WHOLE SECONDS of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire footage. Although it wasn’t much, fans were happy with what they got because we now have confirmation that the game will be in 3D!

And then… Well the show ended, but then the official Pokémon Youtube channel uploaded a small 40 second trailer showing off what most people had waited an hour for.

All rage aside, you can check out the new trailer here, it’s pretty cool! It’s just a bummer we had to wait and hour to get 40 seconds of footage.

Were you disappointed with the Pokémon Get☆TV Broadcast? We’d love to hear what you have to say! Sound off in the comments below!
