Whilst playing the game, the attendee had the chance to see some new in-game features. Although Link and Zelda were the only playable characters, it was said that the game would have online cooperative play. One of the managers at the hub for Hyrule Warriors confirmed three things when asked about the game: There will be online and offline co-op modes Apparently, more classic characters such as those from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be coming to the game By leveling up your character, you’ll unlock new upgrades These answers from the manager spawn even more questions. What characters could be headed to the game? I’d love to have Toon Link appear! What upgrades will be available? Will these upgrades be tied to amiibo? Only time will tell. What do you think?
