HomeNewsNintendo/Game Freak Files Trademark for Pokémon-Related ‘XYZ’ Alex Irish October 13, 2015 News Fan site PokeBeach reports that multiple Japanese trademarks filed by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures carry the name ‘XY&Z’. While also the name of the upcoming Pokémon anime arc, it was not filed by ShoPro (the publisher of the Pokémon anime). This hints that an upcoming game release could bear the title. The latest season of the Pokémon anime ‘Pocket Monsters XY & Z’ premiers in Japan on October 30th, and introduces new formes of the legendary Pokémon Zyngarde. However, there is currently no announced game to tie in with these new formes. In other news, the latest issue of CoroCoro has begun leaking in Japan revealing an upcoming event featuring the legendary trio of Pokémon X and Y. Shiny versions of Xerneas and Yveltal will be distributed in Japan from October 29th and November 5th respectively. A normal Zyngarde meanwhile will be distributed on November 12th, All of them are at level 100, come in a Cherish Ball, and bear the original trainer “XY&Z”.
