HomeNewsNintendo Working on a Mii Smartphone App Slated for a 2015 Release Maanav Goyal November 2, 2014 News The concept of Nintendo making its way to the mobile app market has been something left for debate. Many are against the idea, seeing it as Nintendo leaving its trend of staying exclusive to their own consoles, meanwhile others see it as an amazing business move. The concept of releasing virtual console, a Nintendo news app or virtually anything creative has been something many fans have been longing for. Finally, an official Nintendo app has been announced. Little has been said about it, other than the fact that it will be focused on Miis. In an interview about the app, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata stated that the company has been playing around with the concept for a smartphone app for a while now, and it is only recently that the app’s development has been starting to become a little more streamlined. I personally don’t have too much of an opinion on the concept of a Nintendo app. This app clearly isn’t a game, but it may be a portable Miiverse client, or possibly something of the sort. What do you think the Mii app will be focused on? Let us know by leaving a comment below.ll Source: Nintendo Japan Via: Nintendo Everything Share this post: No related posts.
