HomeNewsNintendo to Return to PAX East 2015 Alex Irish March 2, 2015 News Last year, major publishers like Sony and Nintendo made the odd choice to skip out on Boston’s PAX East Convention. No reason was given for their absence, which likely had to do with pinching pennies and saving their convention money for later efforts. The fates have smiled however, for these companies seem to have had a change of heart. For this concern, Nintendo will be present in Boston this month, and they’re packing their latest hits along for the ride. Attendees of PAX East 2015 should expect the Big N to bring the New Nintendo 3DS XL for demos, as well as Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for 3DS and Splatoon for Wii U. The former will also get stage time at Nintendo’s booth, while Splatoon will merely appear with its E3 2014 build. In fact, Nintendo’s booth is rather 3DS-centric. Also on hand for demo are recent releases Majora’s Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Puzzles & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their amiibo for a special amiibo tournament. After their mysterious absence last year, it’s nice to see Nintendo pull out the stops for the PAX audience once again. PAX East runs from March 6-8, located at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center at 415 Summer St. Mark your convention maps to booth #4072, where Nintendo holds its treasures of upcoming and hot recent releases.
