HomeNewsNintendo to Hold Amiibo-Only Smash Tournaments in Japan Jelani Thompson March 9, 2015 News An interesting new tournament hosted by Nintendo is coming soon! Starting March 14th, toy stores in Japan will be hosting various smash tournaments, but these tournaments aren’t just your typical tournaments: instead of battles between human players, battles will take place between amiibo figurines! Tournaments are limited to 16 players each, but each store will have multiple tournaments take place with each of the battles being 8-player smash. The winner of the tournament will get a free amiibo so you better get training! Would you like to see these tournaments held outside of Japan? Source: Game Watch Share this post: No related posts.
