Nintendo’s Senior Marketing Manager Damon Baker believes it is part of Nintndo’s ethos to support these creative minds. “Nintendo has always supported creative and innovative game designers. It’s an honor to collaborate with IndieCade as an opportunity to not only showcase the quality games available in the Nintendo eShop, but to also celebrate the forward-thinking developers behind them.” Previously, the company sponsored a Nindies@Night booth during PAX Prime in August. In lieu of major third party support on Nintendo platforms of late, independent developers have provided much-needed support to Nintendo 3DS and especially Wii U. IndieCade is an annual celebration of the best in independent game development. It takes place in Culver City, California from October 23rd to October 25th.
