HomeNewsNintendo Partnering up With Loot Crate to Bring Amiibo to Fans Jelani Thompson November 10, 2014 News Nintendo has teamed up with nerdy delivery service Loot Crate to deliver amiibo figurines to fans in new ways. If you sign up for an “amiibo Subscription Service”, you’ll receive 10 pre-selected amiibos throughout the holiday season. The first 5 amiibos that have been announced for this service are Mario, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Fox and Yoshi, but the other 5 amiibo that are part of this service will be revealed soon. Nintendo’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing said the following: “Featuring compatibility with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors this year, amiibo figures are shaping up to be one of the year’s must-have holiday items. Fans around the country already enjoy Loot Crate’s approach to delivering cool new items every month, and now they have a new and convenient way to get their hands on amiibo.” Nintendo and Loot Crate also “have a few additional surprises in store for Super Smash Bros. and amiibo fans”, so check back in the near future to see just what those surprises may be.
