HomeNewsNintendo Opens a Web-Based eShop App in Japan Jelani Thompson March 3, 2015 News Following the announcement that the development of the latest Mario Kart 8 DLC pack is nearly complete, Nintendo has now opened a web-based eShop in Japan that will allow users to purchase content for the game online and hopefully others in the near future. Currently the web app only has four items available: the Mercedes-Benz DLC Pack for Mario Kart 8, two new Mario Kart 8 DLC packs and a bundle that contains both. If you have a Japanese Nintendo Network ID you’ll be able to access this content easily, but there’s no word on whether this app will be making its way to other regions in the near future.
