HomeE3Nintendo Introduces Ever Oasis, An Original Action RPG Alex Irish June 16, 2016 E3, News As part of Nintendo’s Treehouse Live @ E3 on Wednesday, the company delivered on their promise to introduce an all-new “Action RPG” for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is now revealed as Ever Oasis, a 2017 title that hybridizes resource management, third person combat, and dungeon exploration among its diverse play styles. Set in a world inspired by Egypt, players build up a town (referred to as an Oasis) to draw travelers, build up a band of explorers, and traverse open worlds and dungeons to collect resources, solve puzzles, and defeat giant monsters. Ever Oasis is being developed by Grezzo (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D) and directed by Koichi Isshi, the director of role-players such as Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana. This ambitious project has no release date as of yet. In the meantime, here is the archived Treehouse Live demonstration of Ever Oasis’ unique blend of genres. Share this post: No related posts.
