Nintendo Direct: StreetPass Plaza Gets Update April 16th

Nintendo has announced new support for the 3DS StreetPass Plaza. For the first time since July 2013, new games will be available for purchase. They include the fishing game Ultimate Angler, and the third-person shooter Battleground Z. The former has fishes and monsters to catch, the latter sees you battle zombies (zombiis?) in the town of Hobbyville.

In addition, Nintendo announced unique paid content in the form of the VIP Room. This will allow users to add more information to their Mii, and store up to 100 special Miis for safe keeping.

All of this content goes live on April 16th. The two games can be purchased for $4.99 each or $7.99 together. The Premium VIP Room has no price as of yet.
