Following on the heels of the Gold Mario back in March, this variant will arrive in North America on May 29th for $12.99. Nintendo says it will be sold at a variety of retailers, which could include GameStop, Toys R Us, Best Buy and Target based on previous leaks. The Silver Mario amiibo is, of course, compatible with any game that uses Mario amiibo functionality. The previous Gold Mario had a special unlock in Mario Party 10, so the silver version may do the same. If you’re in the neighborhood for the Silver Mario figure, know that it launches alongside Wave 4 of the Smash Bros. line, the game Splatoon and its own accompanying amiibo set. May 29th looks to be a very expensive day for hardcore Nintendo fans. Let us know if you’ll be picking up the Silver Mario amiibo in the comments. Share this post: No related posts.
