Nintendo beefs up the Mario Kart 8 Release with a Very Tempting Offer

Nintendo knows when it’s using its ace-in-the-hole. Mario Kart 8 is anticipated to drive a lot of sales, but Nintendo’s not taking any chances.

Nintendo is offering a promotion for both it’s new Wii U adopters, and old owners alike, with a special Wii U bundle including the game, a Mario Wii Remote Plus, and Mario Wheel accessory for those who don’t have a Wii U yet,

Sweet, sweet bundled goodness

AND for those who do already have one, they’re giving away a download code when you buy Mario Kart 8 physically or digitally and register it to Club Nintendo. This download code will get you a download for one of these games for FREE:  New Super Mario Bros. U, Wii Party U, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, or Pikmin 3! This also applies to the bundled copy of the game so the bundle will get you a free game as well!

The shields can’t handle any more hype, Captain!

The price point for the bundle is set at $329.99, which basically shaves $20 off the game, and throws in the Wii Remote and Wheel accessory for free! If you’ve been waiting for the heavy hitters to come out  before you buy, now is the time with this bundle, and Smash Bros. 4 on the horizon.

There was a lot more revealed in this morning’s Nintendo Direct, including New Characters, New Items, Online Modes and the return of Mario Kart TV!
