The RetroN 5 is a multiplatform system that uses your original cartridges to play games from NES/Famicom, SNES, Genesis/Mega Drive, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Gameboy Advance through HDMI. It also lets you use 10 save/load states per game, and will play both PAL and NTSC cartridges , and has CIC lockout chips and FX chips so games like Starfox will be no problem At SXSW, Chris Gallizzi from Hyperkin, the creator of the RetroN 5 said this: “Check us out at E3, you’ll see something there. That is an exclusive, actually; I have not told anyone else, any other media, or any press that. If you really are big about the N64, you will see something at E3.” Could this mean N64 support for the next RetroN console? We would sure love that as it would open the window to play all 400 (Approx) N64 games adding to a library of approx. 4000+ games! Share this post: No related posts.
