HomeNewsNew 3DS Systems/Bundles Spotted Online Alex Irish November 6, 2014 News On November 28th, Black Friday will be upon us. Nintendo of America has a consistent history of offering consumers sweet deals on hardware bundles for this festive (and often consumeristic) weekend. So far, they have not announced anything specific for the holidays, as far as new hardware bundles or colors. A couple of leaks online may give us a window into their future plans, however. Twitter user Wario64 has sent out images showing two new deals for 3DS fans. First off, there’s a Blue/Black 3DS XL bundled with Mario Party: Island Tour (similar to their pairing of that color with Mario Kart 7 two years ago). More interesting is the ‘Crystal Blue’ 2DS seen in a Target flyer. Though not certain to be limited to the holidays, it will launch on Sunday, November 16th for the traditional $129.99. However, when it debuts at Target, you can purchase it (and all other 2DS systems) for a discount price of $99. This is the same color that Europe is getting this month, along with a transparent red 2DS, which includes digital copies of the upcoming Pokémon remakes. Whether we will see similar bundles here remains to be seen, but we did get 2DS/Pokémon X and Y bundles last year. Nothing has been confirmed by NoA, and will likely not be until a couple of weeks before their rumored releases. What do you say about picking up such deals on the 3DS XL or 2DS? Are you waiting for a 2DS for this swell transparent unit? Share this post: No related posts.
