HomeNewsNew 3DS Coming to Australia and New Zealand November 21st Jacob Rifenbery September 24, 2014 News In the first Australian Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the New 3DS and the New 3DS XL will be released on November 21st for the prices of AU$219.95 and AU$249.95 respectively. This will be the first release of the systems outside of Japan, where the systems will be released on October 11th. While the direct primarily focused on the new features of the New 3DS, the previously announced Xenoblade Chronicles remake was also confirmed for a Australia/New Zealand release, though no specific release date was provided. Unlike prior 3DS systems (excluding the 3DS XL in Europe and Japan) the New 3DS will not be packaged with an AC adapter, meaning you’ll need to pick one up separately or use an adapter from a different 3DS. No similar announcement has been made for North America or Europe yet, except that the systems will release at some point in 2015.
