Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Distributed By Nintendo In Europe and Australia

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the updated version of the Japanese exclusive Monster Hunter 4 will be distributed by Nintendo in Europe and Australia. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will still be published by Capcom, but Nintendo will be handling things like sales, marketing, public relations and distribution when the game is released in early 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.

This deal comes out of the success of a similar arrangement that Capcom and Nintendo had with the previous game in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The deal is basically the same, and since Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was a huge success, chances are Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will do just as well.

In Japan, Monster Hunter 4 has pushed over 4 million units. This has resulted it the game surpassing some of the biggest 3DS hits in terms of sales for titles like Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

It won’t be too long until we get Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate here in the west, so until then check out this amazing trailer.
