HomeNewsMiyamoto: Other Video Game Companies are Boring, Discusses Virtual Reality Jelani Thompson November 10, 2014 News Nintendo Developer Shigeru Miyamoto has stated that he believes other video game companies are boring in a recent interview with The Telegraph. Here’s the full quote: “What the other companies are doing makes business sense, but it’s boring. The same games appear on every system. At Nintendo we want an environment where game creators can collaborate and think of ideas for games that could have never happened before.” What other way to create experiences like this than with Virtual Reality? A trend that has been growing ever-so quickly. Whelp, Miyamoto has his lips sealed on that matter: “I have nothing to tell you about Nintendo’s involvement in virtual reality. We have nothing to announce yet.” Although Nintendo has nothing to announce on Virtual Reality yet, do you think they could be dabbling in it behind-the-scenes?
