HomeNewsMewtwo DLC for Super Smash Bros. to Release “Pretty Soon” Alex Irish March 22, 2015 News Masahiro Sakurai has been very busy over the last few years toiling away at not one but two Super Smash Bros. games. Now that the games have been released, there’s still one matter left: DLC. No extensive plan for long-term DLC has been announced, but we do have a Miiverse stage and Tournaments for the Wii U version, while Mewtwo has been promised for both Wii U and 3DS. While the hotly-anticipated fighter was announced last October, it’s still not out yet. According to director Masahiro Sakurai, we won’t have to wait much longer. In an interview spotted on YouTube (courtesy of YT user RED), Sakurai says Mewtwo is destined to arrive “pretty soon.” Club Nintendo members who registered both the 3DS and Wii U editions of Smash Bros. currently have the lock on Mewtwo when he arrives. For those of you who have yet to do so, the deadline for Mewtwo registration is March 31st- the same day that registration for all games on Club Nintendo ends. Mewtwo is supposed to be released as paid DLC for everyone later on, but there’s no telling when that privilege will be allowed. Let us know if you’ve gotten your Mewtwo surveys filled out in the comments. Share this post: No related posts.
