Mega Man Legacy 3DS Edition Delayed to 2016

Capcom has announced the release dates for the retro compilation Mega Man Legacy Collection, and the 3DS version is missing the release window entirely. While the retail edition of the collection for all platforms has been delayed to 2016, the 3DS version, both digital and retail, will not see release until early 2016. The PS4 and Xbox One download editions will launch on August 25th. Moreover, the 3DS version will launch at $29.99, twice the going rate for the PS4/Xbox One editions.

Mega Man Legacy Collection features the 8-bit line-up of Mega Man titles, from 1-6. Other bonus features include a boss gauntlet, art galleries, and special graphical filters designed to emulate CRT televisions. Capcom has not announced if the 3DS version, being a sub-HD handheld, will have feature parity with the console versions.
