Mega Man Amiibo Supported in 3DS Legacy Collection

While Mega Man Legacy Collection has been entertaining players on Xbox One and PS4 since August, the 3DS version was delayed into early-2016. To compensate, Capcom is including exclusive features for 3DS players, including newly-announced amiibo support.

Owners of the Mega Man amiibo will be able to harness the New 3DS’ NFC reader (or the NFC Reader for older 3DS models) to unlock ten additional challenge stages. These stages in particular are being designed by fans in a contest. The best challenge stages will be selected and incorporated into the game.

Fans who wish to try their hand at creating a Mega Man challenge stage have from now until September 25th to submit. All the rules can be found at Capcom’s official blog.
