HomeNewsMario Kart 8 Patch Incoming to Fix YouTube Upload Glitch Alex Irish November 19, 2014 News In the wake of Mario Kart 8‘s expansive DLC and amiibo update last week, not everything turned out to be sunshine and rainbows. Besides the new racers, tracks, and amiibo functionality, there seems to be a problem newly created when uploading Mario Kart TV videos. In addition to MKTV features as customizing the length and focus of your recent races, it seems that users are seeing the error code 104-1852 whenever they try to upload clips to YouTube. Fortunately, Nintendo’s tech forums saw assurance from a tech representative that a patch to fix the error was in the works. Currently, when attempting to upload a game highlight video to YouTube, some users may receive Error Code 104-1852 and the video upload may fail as a result. Nintendo is aware of this and a system update to address this issue is being prepared. We will provide a status update on our support website here once the system update is ready for release. I will also post an update here, so if you are following this discussion, you’ll receive a notification. No time table was given for when the patch would arrive to Mario Kart 8.
