HomeNewsLos Angeles to Host a Pokémon Pop-up Boutique this June Natalie Kipper May 24, 2015 News, Community Los Angeles, California is the place to be this June. Beyond the spectacle that is E3, it was recently announced that the city would also play host to a pop-up Pokémon Boutique. Japan LA Pop Culture Shop will be housing the goods from June 6 to July 5, so you have a solid chunk of time to go check out what is available. Speaking of goods, the merchandise will also feature some unique fashion items made in collaboration with designers like Omocat, Onch Movement, as well as Japan LA themselves. I imagine there will also be the typical Pokémon stuff for purchase (plushes, cell charms, and such) but that wasn’t mentioned in the press release so it is not a sure thing. There will also be a party on June 6 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the shop to celebrate the boutique’s launch. It will have character photo opportunities, appearances by the designers, celebrity DJ Amy Pham, and nail artists (it was called a “boutique” after all). If you want a prediction of mine, I bet there will be Pokeball cake pops. Just a guess. Any Angelenos planning on attending? Share this post: No related posts.
