We all knew that the Link amiibo would unlock a Spinner weapon, and all other amiibo would unlock one random item per day. Finally, the day has come for this update to ensnare players, and with it comes expanded gameplay and new Twilight Princess DLC as well. The patch notes indicate that Version 1.4.0 bring us: The maximum warrior level increased to 150 You can now carry up to 999 of a single type of material New mixtures have appeared in the Apothecary New medals are waiting to be won You can now receive amiibo presents! Touch an amiibo to the GamePad while on the title screen to get a random bonus. An amiibo can give you only one present a day, but you can receive up to five presents if you use five different amiibo! Twilight Princess Pack This DLC pack allows you to: Play as Midna in her true form and use the Mirror of Twilight Use the Copy Rod weapon when you play as Zelda Try a new Adventure Mode map Use new costumes for Link and Zelda According to this YouTube video, the new Spinner weapon is making quite a killing with Hyrule Warriors players.
