HomeNewsHyrule Castle and F-Zero Race Track Among Some of the new Mario Kart 8 Tracks Revealed Alex Irish November 5, 2014 News First off, the news you’ve been waiting for: Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack arrives on November 13th, and with it comes eight new tracks, three new drivers, and four new vehicles. As highlighted in the new trailer, drivers like Link, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach will get behind the wheel of new karts like the Blue Falcon and the Master Cycle. We also learned about the incoming update for amiibo compatibility. Compatible amiibo will net you costumes for your Mii, not just Mario characters, but outsiders too such as Kirby, Samus Aran, and Captain Falcon. Not a huge deal, but it’s sure to ensnare the interest of completionists and collectors out there. The second DLC pack for MK8, including Animal Crossing characters and more tracks, is still on tap for May 2015. Share this post: No related posts.
