Halloween National StreetPass Weekend Trailer Released

Nintendo is at it again with the strange advertising, something we have seen plenty of in the 90’s, with a short video announcing the Halloween National StreetPass Weekend.  This event will run through October 31st through November 2nd, and is encouraging gamers across the nation to take their 3DS with them during the Halloween weekend in order to score some StreetPass. The event itself isn’t anything too out of this world, but the trailer may be.

Maybe when I was five did I find vampires and monsters scary, but I think Nintendo may have brought that fear back with their own imagining of these classical Halloween creatures.

Yep, Nintendo has joined the weird trailer industry again, this time featuring people wearing massive Mii heads as they masquerade in Halloween costumes. At least it wasn’t as weird as a Zelda commercial.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of the event and the video!
