Alex Irish March 14, 2017 amiibo, News Four CPSIA (Certificates of Compliance) documents have been found, indicating ties to the Super Smash Bros. line. The four in question were filed by Nintendo on March 6th and all begin with ‘AA’, a commonality with Smash Bros. amiibo figures. No image or exact description was given for any of these mystery listings. For Smash Bros. fans, the last three amiibo in the series, Cloud, Bayonetta, and Corrin, have yet to be released. They were originally announced to be in development back in December 2015. Since that time, the Smash figures that saw release were Mewtwo, Falco, Lucas, Ryu, and Roy, to the exclusion of the aforementioned three. For those looking for solace, Platinum Games, developer of Bayonetta 2, have teased the existence of the Bayonetta figure a while ago. As for the fourth listing tied to Smash Bros., there’s no telling who that character might be, short of a Switch port of the Wii U version including a new playable character. While such a port has been rumored to tie into the remaining Smash amiibo, Nintendo’s not saying anything as of now. Share this post: No related posts.
