Dragon Quest X 3DS Announced by Square-Enix

Dragon Quest X is an MMORPG that has been widely acclaimed by its audience. Though a Japan-only game, the title has hit numerous consoles, first on the Wii, Wii U, Windows, Android devices, and now the 3DS.

Square-Enix has announced that a cloud-based version of the game will be available on the 3DS early this September. The cloud functionality of the game will allow players to play with users playing on other devices, keeping up the MMO experience the game offers. Alongside this, the cloud functionality allows the game to look massively better than most 3DS games, as now the game can run on Square-Enix’s servers, as opposed to directly on the handheld.

The game will come with a 60-day free trial with multiple in-game goods. These goods include the “Lemon Slide Board Prism” ,which is a vehicle players can use, five “Great EXP Archives”, each giving 1000 experience points to the user, a “Casino Coin Ticket”, a poster, and lastly, a lottery card.

Once the 60-day free trial is up, players can continue their membership by paying 350 yen for 3 days, 650 for 10 days, 0r 1500 per month.
