In addition, they confirmed that, to improve the customer experience, there would be no pre-orders online and that the amiibo will be sold in-store only. Best Buy has also hinted that Dark Pit will be available in limited quantities, but to serve as many shoppers as possible, it will be limited to one-per-customer. Best Buy’s measurements are certainly steps to improve on the complaints surrounding the acquisition of amiibo. Earlier this year, Nintendo of America publicly apologized for the situation, promising to improve stock and the shopping experience in the future. At E3, NoA President Reggie Fils-Aime told Kotaku that they were in discussions with retailers on how to improve the pre-sale process. Time will tell if other retailers follow suit with Best Buy as amiibo continue to release throughout 2015. Share this post: No related posts.
