HomeNewsCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare Coming to the Wii U; More Info to be Shown at E3 Jelani Thompson June 2, 2014 News On Activision’s official E3 release page, it was confirmed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare would be headed to the Nintendo’s home console, the Wii U. This comes as a surprise considering the fact that Activision hasn’t been much of a frequent supporter for Nintendo consoles at any point in time. Destructoid spun up an article talking about the issue, and author of the post, Chris Carter stated, “Wii U fans may have hope yet.” seeing as the Wii U has been left out in the development of many other titles in the Call of Duty series. The fact that Activision is taking such a “risk” by releasing one of the biggest titles of the year on the Wii U means that they are starting to see the true potential of the console. Of course we’ll be seeing this game on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PS4 among others, so I guess you could say that the Wii U is rolling with the big guys now.
