HomeRumorAre Roy and Ryu coming to Smash Bros. as DLC? Natalie Kipper April 18, 2015 Rumor Super Smash Bros. 4 enthusiasts may still have a chance to play as Fire Emblem hero Roy plus Street Fighter‘s Ryu if findings by the talented bunch at The Cutting Room Floor hold true. The group found Wii U and 3DS sound files related to both characters hidden in the game. You can listen to the files yourself over at The Cutting Room Floor’s wiki. While this is still a rumor, Roy and Ryu as Smash Bros. characters wouldn’t be much of a stretch. There are certainly other Fire Emblem heroes on the roster and Roy is a Smash Bros. veteran. As for Ryu, Capcom already has Mega Man as a playable character so we know they have an “in.” What’s your take on this rumor? Share your thoughts in the comments!
