Pre-order Splatoon and Target to get an exclusive themed squirt gun. Very fitting! This one was brought to our attention courtesy of NintendoEverything.com.

Gamestop Splatoon bonus

If Gamestop is your pre-order destination, you will be gifted with a download code for two Splatoon-themed costumes for your Mii Fighter in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U.

Puzzle & Dragons Z +Super Mario Bros. Edition

We previously covered the Nintendo eShop’s bonus but GoNintendo.com found even more pre-order gifts from various retailers.

Amazon Puzzle and Dragons bonus

Amazon announced that an order from them will yield an exclusive code unlocking the Vampire Lord for your party in Puzzle & Dragons Z. Note that this bonus only applies to orders sold and shipped by Amazon (no third-party sellers).

GS Puzzle Dragons bonus

Pre-order from Gamestop to get an exclusive relic to help evolve the Apocalypse Monster. If you ordered online, the unlock code will be emailed within 2 business days. Those who purchase or pick-up in-store can find the code printed on their receipt.

Whew! Gamers are in for some tough choices, store-wise. From amiibo releases to pre-order bonuses, the store-exclusive is a trend that seems to be becoming more and more commonplace. Personally, I wish we didn’t have to play Sophie’s Choice with our bonuses and I imagine most people don’t have the cash to order the same game at two different locations.

What you do think, readers?
